Introduction

Product Overview

There are currently two types of groundwater velocity and flow direction measuring instruments. One is based on the thermal pulse method, which is greatly affected by water pressure and can generally only detect the velocity and flow direction of water flow within 60 meters; the other uses the tracer particle method, which cannot accurately determine whether the groundwater is too clear or too turbid. The AML920 groundwater velocity meter uses tracer particle measurement technology.

The AML920 groundwater velocity and flow direction instrument can acquire three-dimensional vector data of groundwater in a single well without the need for multiple wells; continuous real-time online automatic measurement, generating multiple sets of "real, accurate, comprehensive, fast, and novel" data per minute, ensuring you obtain sufficient statistical data to support scientific research, environmental monitoring, law enforcement, investigation, and assessment needs. The working depth is 500 meters.

Technical Features

  • At a certain water level, neither imported nor domestic instruments can simultaneously present a top-down view and a 360° panoramic view.
  • Wireless remote control via mobile phones and tablets is achieved. Imported equipment only has a display screen; therefore, there are no comparable products domestically or internationally.
  • If the water is too clear, the flow direction and velocity cannot be measured. After adding 1 mg of AIMOLI contrast agent, the flow direction is visible, and the velocity can be measured.
  • A dedicated cleaning membrane is provided to prevent cross-contamination between different groundwater bodies, while competitors lack corresponding protective measures.
  • The cable has meter markings, and the testing operation can be completed in one go. Compared to peers, one less instrument needs to be carried, reducing one operation step.
  • The lift pump can freely switch between manual and automatic modes, requiring only the strength of a child to operate, which is not achievable by competitors.

Six-in-one IoT data acquisition terminal

Using AML920 to measure groundwater velocity and flow direction does not require multiple wells. In a single well, the multi-functional probe is lowered to the logging section using a meter-marked cable and a lifting winch. According to different well conditions, the brightness, contrast, saturation, chroma, and rotation angle of the camera channel are adjusted by the multi-functional probe control device and control application software to capture particle transport information. The controller's visual algorithm and three-dimensional vector algorithm are input through the meter-marked cable to measure groundwater velocity and flow direction in real time.

920 controller

The controller consists of a data processor, signal acquisition card, data export and upload, display, waterproof and dustproof keyboard, printer, and screwdriver handle.

920 Handheld Device

The handheld device wirelessly connects to the 920 controller, allowing for remote operation and display, making it very convenient to use.
