AML919, 3-minute 6-parameter groundwater sampler participated in the first national groundwater environmental quality assessment organized by the China Environmental Monitoring Station. Technical personnel for sampling and monitoring are required to hold certificates for on-site assessment

In order to do a good job in the national groundwater environmental quality assessment and monitoring, strengthen quality management, and ensure the quality of monitoring data, in accordance with the relevant requirements of the "Letter on Organizing the Certification and Onsite Assessment of Sample Collection Technicians for National Groundwater Environmental Quality Assessment and Monitoring" (Environmental Testing Letter [2021] No. 43), from June 29th to 30th, the China Environmental Monitoring Station (hereinafter referred to as the Station) organized the first on-site assessment of certified sample collection technicians for national groundwater environmental quality assessment and monitoring.

This assessment is divided into two parts: theoretical assessment and operational assessment, with a total of 128 technical personnel from 13 units participating. This assessment has multiple units and personnel, and is still the first time. In order to ensure the efficient and smooth implementation of this assessment work and fairness, combined with the characteristics of groundwater sampling and monitoring, the central station strictly controls the theoretical test questions and operational assessment rules. Experts with rich experience in groundwater sampling and monitoring were selected from the environmental monitoring system and geological environment monitoring system to form an assessment group. With the cooperation of the watershed center, they were divided into two groups. In Bengbu, Anhui and Wuhan, Hubei, the technical personnel of the China Geological Survey Shenyang Geological Survey Center and the Hydrological Bureau of the Yangtze River Water Resources Commission were strictly certified for their work, and the theoretical test paper and operational assessment were strictly judged as soon as possible.

Through this assessment, the quality awareness of the technical personnel for collecting samples for the national groundwater environmental quality assessment has been strengthened, and the level of the technical personnel for collecting samples for the national groundwater environmental quality assessment has been improved. This provides strong guarantees for the comprehensive and smooth development of the national groundwater environmental quality assessment and monitoring, as well as the quality of monitoring data.

Before the practical exam, Emory's R&D engineers personally guided the teachers on the operation and explanation of the AML919 groundwater sampler equipment. The teachers listened with great interest, some holding laptops to record and some holding phones to record videos.
