AML920 Groundwater Flow Velocity and Direction Meter: Innovative Technology, Advanced Equipment

Workflow: Use AML920 groundwater velocity and direction meter to monitor groundwater and determine groundwater velocity and direction. It is necessary to eliminate the interference of the instrument's up and down movement on the groundwater body, so it is necessary to stand for more than 15 minutes before the monitoring work begins, and wait for the groundwater body to return to its natural state before monitoring.

This monitoring sets the monitoring frequency of AML920 groundwater velocity and direction meter to 5s/time, obtain multiple sets of data, and finally calculate the velocity and direction of the monitoring point.

The process method is as follows:
1. Collect monitoring well information, including but not limited to: water level, well depth, screen depth, screen length, wellhead diameter, and monitoring well location coordinates.
2. Negotiate with the user to determine the monitoring point and monitoring time. This monitoring determines to monitor 1 meter, 5 meters, and two monitoring points, and each point is monitored for more than 30 minutes.
3. Install the groundwater velocity and direction meter, start and check the equipment operation: normal.
4. Lower the acquisition terminal to two points, 1 meter and 5 meters underground, through the well wall bracket. Each point is left to stand for more than 15 minutes. After the monitoring results are observed to be stable through the controller, start monitoring at this point; observe the well wall and groundwater conditions through the controller, adjust the equipment parameters to optimize the monitoring effect, and automatically record the monitoring data and images during the period.
Among them, the 1-meter point is monitored for 8 hours; the 5-meter point is monitored for 12 hours.
5. Check that the monitoring results have been saved, the monitoring points are not missed, and the monitoring time meets the monitoring requirements. Turn off the instrument, organize and store, and end the monitoring.
6. Provide the measured data for the customer to make an overall assessment of the monitoring points.
